Assessment 2

  • The name of the Community I joined in is Anime. This group is about recent anime, about characters in anime, about which anime is watching, and etc.1
  • Purposes:
    • This is sort of family type of group regarding anime. Everyone in this group talks about their thoughts and idea about a particular anime and try to put their opinion as best as they can. They don’t have any particular boundaries regarding anime. This community is about bonding with anonymous people who are anime freak. The main goal of this community is to entertain each other about anime or its characters and staying on the same page.
  • Activities:
    • The main activity associated with this group is to have fun. Anyone can be talking about a certain character of anime or certain anime and it is pointless but it is all about having fun. The main activity associated with these group is to gather a group of people and to talk about certain criteria or scene from an anime. As such:  In this conversation one of the admins posted chose two different characters from two different anime, and then asked the audience to choose the favorite between these two. So, we can say this is about entertainment where people talk about a particular topic.
    • To put another example:In another post one of the admin was talking about Midoria from “My Hero Academia” , anime where the main character was really fascinated and intrigued with the female character. So, the admin was trying to have fun talking about it. Its not important but it seemed really fun when a group of people talk about it and post their personal thoughts on regard to this matter.
    • The main activities involved in this group is to have fun and talk within a particular topic.
  • Being a part of this group, I really feel amazing. I am a big fan of anime ever since I was kid, and I have fascination from different characters in anime. I know there are lot of people who loves anime, however most of them feel really uncomfortable talking about anime. But, when I am on this community, Anime, I really feel welcome and it sounds so amazing when a group of anonymous people talking about the same thing.2345   While having fun in this Group, I often involve myself in the conversation in this group. The topic is usually raised based on any matter and trust me nonetheless, anyone would can entertain themselves while participating in anonymous conversation. sometimes the topic is vague but it doesn’t hurt to comment. I will say it is an amazing experience while participating in the conversation from random people.
